Ala | Handle

ALA is a series of unique pieces that subtly integrate the natural world into any home. Birds and the symbols associated with them refer to freedom, peace, and protection. Each piece has been finely carved in wood by artisans who make traditional altarpieces for churches.

The carvings reveal the natural beauty of the woodgrain and embody the spirit of the birds' wings, turning the everyday act of opening or closing a door into a sensory experience.

The handles come in pairs—one set for each side of the door. Both circular and rectangular plates are included so the user can choose the shape that best suits their door.
